THE BREWERIES BOONE WE VISIT IN & AROUND BOONE!

  • Appalachian Mountain Brewery, affectionately called “AMB” by locals, holds the distinction of being Boone’s very first brewery, established in 2013. Founded by Nathan and Chris, with head brewer Nathan Keilschek (an App State Fermentation Sciences alum), AMB has set the standard for craft beer in the High Country. The brewery is deeply rooted in principles of community, philanthropy, and sustainability, partnering with over 100 local nonprofits and implementing eco-friendly brewing practices that divert grain from landfills to support local farmers.

  • Booneshine Brewing Company lives up to its name by embodying the vibrant, community-driven spirit of Boone. With a focus on local ingredients and small-batch brews, Booneshine has grown from a small operation to one of the largest breweries in the area, complete with a 3,500-square-foot facility that includes a full-service restaurant, tasting room, and the High Country’s largest outdoor beer garden.

  • Lost Province Brewing Company is a cornerstone of Boone’s brewery scene, offering two distinct locations that cater to different vibes. The downtown location, housed in a historic building, is a full-service brewery and gastropub, while the Hardin Creek taproom is a laid-back spot for beer, wine, and cider enthusiasts.

  • SouthEnd Brewing Co. is Boone’s newest brewery, bringing a fresh perspective to the High Country’s beer scene. Located in the heart of downtown, this family-owned spot focuses on a carefully curated selection of five well-balanced beers, complemented by seasonal rotations and a full restaurant menu.
